Dubai recorded more than AED29.66 billion of property sales in September, according to an Emirates 24|7 analysis of Dubai Land Department data published on 1 October. Ready-property sales contributed AED16.03 billion, compared with AED13.63 billion for off-plan property.
The report puts broader transaction value at AED50.78 billion, including mortgages and gifts. That larger figure is not the amount buyers spent purchasing property.
Reading the split
For an investor comparing completed homes with new launches, the split shows substantial sales value in both markets. It does not establish which delivered better returns: total spending reflects the properties traded as well as their prices. A purchase comparison still depends on the specific location, home and payment terms.
The figures describe September registrations, not a forecast for the final quarter.
